Sep 2018: Insight Pacific LLC,* Brea, California, is awarded $10,833,274 for firm-fixed-price task order N6247818F4254 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N62478-18-D-4026) for repair of warehouse Buildings 404B and 406B at Joint Base Pearl Harbor - Hickam.  The work to be performed provides for restoring and modernizing the existing facility. Underfloor waste drain plumbing and sewer laterals are to be replaced; existing restrooms will be demolished; damaged structural wood framing, concrete curbs, grade beams, column pedestals, windows, doors, and gates are to be repaired/replaced.  Existing chain link security gates will be removed and new combination roll up door and security grille will be installed.  New emergency egress lighting fixtures and exit signs will also be provided to meet current life safety codes.  The lighting and mechanical system at the existing office will be replaced.  Each building will be reroofed and new skylight fall protection added. Work will be performed in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by September 2021.  Fiscal 2018 Defense working capital funds (Defense Logistics Agency) in the amount of $10,833,274 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Seven proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Hawaii, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.

Aug 2019: Insight Pacific LLC,* Brea, California, is awarded $8,577,620 for firm-fixed-price task order N62478-19-F-4209 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N62478-18-D-4026) for repair and maintenance of pumps at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.  The work on Main Pumps 3 and 4 at Dry Dock 4 includes disassembly, removal, main pump overhaul, motor cleaning/repair rewind and reinstallation.  The work will also include the repair/replacement of the pump thrust bearings, shaft, shaft couplings and sleeves, bearing supports, piping, baffle plates, hydraulic blade angle systems and controls, oil head and the complete removal and reinstallation of the existing pump impellers.  Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by March 2021.  Fiscal 2019 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $8,577,620 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Four proposals were received for this task order.  Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Hawaii, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.

Jul 2020: Elite Pacific Construction Inc.,* Kaneohe, Hawaii (N62478-18-D-4022); Su-Mo Builders Inc.,* Honolulu, Hawaii (N62478-18-D-4023); RORE Inc.,* San Diego, California (N62478-18-D-4024); Environet Inc.,* Kamuela, Hawaii (N62478-18-D-4025); Insight Pacific LLC,* Brea, California (N62478-18-D-4026); GM/Bulltrack JV LLC,* Clackamas, Oregon (N62478-18-D-4027); and Alan Shintani Inc.,* Waipahu, Hawaii (N62478-18-D-4028), are awarded a $90,000,000 firm-fixed-price modification to increase the maximum dollar value of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award, design-build/design-bid-build construction contract. This contract provides for construction projects located primarily within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii area of operations (AO). Work will be performed at various Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and miscellaneous federal and other facilities in the NAVFAC Hawaii AO. The work to be performed provides for, but is not limited to, labor, supervision, tools, materials and equipment that are necessary to perform new construction, repair, alteration and related demolition of existing infrastructure based on design-build or design-bid-build (full plans and specifications) for infrastructure within the state of Hawaii. No task orders are being issued at this time. Work is expected to be completed by April 2023. After award of this modification, the total cumulative contract value will be $335,000,000. No funds will be obligated at time of award. Funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued.
