DOD Announcements

Dec 2022: Cabras Marine Corp., Piti, Guam (N4044623D0001); Guam Industrial Services Inc., doing business as Guam Shipyard, Tamuning, Guam (N4044623D0002); and Seafix Inc., Tamuning, Guam (N4044623D0003), are awarded a combined not to exceed $249,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the general ship repair of Military Sealift Command vessels on Guam. Each awardee will be awarded $3,500 (minimum contract guarantee per awardee) at contract award. These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $249,000,000 over a five-year period to the three vendors combined.  Work will be performed in the island of Guam and is expected to be completed by November 2027. Fiscal 2023 operation and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $10,500 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. All other funding will be made available at the delivery order level as contracting actions occur. This contract was HUBZone set side with proposals solicited via the Government Point of Entry website and three proposals received. The Navy's Military Sealift Command, Ship Support Unit Guam, is the contracting activity.
