Black Construction/Mace International JV, Harmon, Guam (N40084-18-D-0066); DOD Constructors JV, Napa, California (N40084-18-D-0067); and SJC-BVIL, Montrose, Colorado (N40084-18-D-0068), were each awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award design-bid-build and design-build construction contract for construction projects at Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia. The maximum dollar value including the base period and four option years for all three contracts combined is $240,000,000. The work to be performed provides for, but is not limited to, office renovation, building demolition, built-in equipment repair/replacement, piping repair/replacement, pipe lagging, electrical work, mechanical work, road pavement, fencing, roofing, painting, site work, removal and disposal of lead based paint and asbestos containing material, welding and masonry. The contractor may be provided full-blown plans and specifications, sketches, no design, or may be required to do design-build. Depending on the work to be accomplished on each task order, additional prescriptive Unified Facilities Guide of Specifications will be added to each task order. Work will be performed in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months with an expected completion date of January 2023. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $300,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No task orders are being issued at this time. Future task orders will be primarily funded by operations and maintenance (Navy). These three contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. This contract was competitively procured via the Asia Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with three proposals received.
