UES Inc., Dayton, Ohio, has been awarded a $42,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Nanoelectronic Materials Optimization. This contract provides for research and development on a broad range of advanced materials for magnetic, electronic, and electro-optical materials applications leading to improved nanomaterials, material processes, and devices for digital, radio frequency, radar, infrared detector, opto-electronic, secure communication, power generation, sensing, and control applications. The location of performance is Dayton, Ohio; and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The work is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2022. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with nine offers received. Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $137,807 are being obligated for the first order (FA8650-16-F-5416) at the time of award.
