Jan 2018: Atec Inc., Stafford, Texas, has been awarded an $80,328,845 firm-fixed-price contract for engine test stand repairs. This contract provides for the repair of aircraft engine test stands used in the intermediate maintenance test and evaluation phases of aircraft.  Work will be performed at various locations in the U.S. and overseas, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 21, 2022.  Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds will be obligated on task orders, not at the time of the award.  This award was the result of a sole-source acquisition.  Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8533-18-D-0001).
