Sep 2018: GasTOPS, Inc., Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a $7,661,190 requirements contract for the Portable Debris Analyzer ChipCheck Machine.  This contract provides for the procurement of 75 machines, which allow for in-the-field ability to analyze debris found in aircraft engine oil, specifically, the F-110 engine. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, and is expected to be complete by Sept. 26, 2023.  This contract was the result of a sole-source Small Business Innovation Research Phase III acquisition.  No funds are being obligated at the time of award.  Air Force Sustainment Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8119-18-D-0012).
