Grant Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will subgrant the LWCF award to Westtown Township to revitalize the athletic core of Oakbourne Park. The work will include the rehabilitation of existing facilities, addition of green infrastructure improvements, ADA access throughout the park and all facilities, sustainable stormwater management, game court rehabilitation, sustainable and accessible restrooms, an inclusive tot lot, pickleball courts, a basketball court, a gathering area, and a picnic shelter. The project will also include accessible support facilities such as tables, seating, trash cans, parking lot reconfiguration with drop off, handicapped spaces, and security lighting. Additionally, a park sign with grant acknowledgement will be installed.
