Grant Description
The State Library of Ohio will use funds to support the goals of their five-year plan for FY 2023-2027, which reflect the purposes and priorities of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
In Ohio, specific goals address:
1) Learning: Educating Ohioans for Success - Ensuring that all residents are knowledgeable in their access and use of contemporary information resources and technologies in relation to school and public libraries.
2) Building Community Capacity and Engagement - Through inclusive access to knowledge and ideas, preservation and discovery of cultural heritage, and support for community wellbeing.
3) Strengthening Libraries - Through a combination of effective strategic planning, compilation and use of public library statistics, support for the regional library system, and systematic professional development.
