Background
The USAID Small Grants for Biodiversity aims to support locally-led conservation initiatives that protect biodiversity while improving community well-being. Grant Details

This includes presenting information on at least three past or current projects that align with the grant's objectives, detailing project names, scopes, sizes, and periods of performance. The Phase I submission is limited to six single-spaced typed pages total, excluding the Evidence of Eligibility which must be submitted as Annex A. Additionally, the applicant must provide sufficient evidence in Annex A to demonstrate eligibility as per Section C.1 Eligibility.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility for this grant is restricted to local entities as statutorily defined by USAID. The applicant must be legally organized under the laws of Nepal, have its principal place of business or operations in Nepal, be majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of Nepal, and be managed by a governing body majority of whom are citizens or lawful permanent residents of Nepal. Additionally, the applicant must demonstrate its eligibility to apply for this NOFO and must be found to be a responsible entity before receiving an award.
