The U. S. Government, represented by the U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Eastern and Southern Caribbean (ESC), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information and potential interest from organizations to reduce youth involvement in gangs and gang related violence in ESC countries.

Background
The U.S. Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Eastern and Southern Caribbean (ESC), is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information and potential interest from organizations to reduce youth involvement in gangs and gang-related violence in ESC countries.

The activity aims to address the alarming increase in youth gang involvement and related violence, as highlighted by recent studies indicating a significant rise in gang-related crimes across the Caribbean region.

Grant Details
The objective of this RFI is to collect input from industry that can be used to refine the design of a potential activity focused on gang prevention. USAID/ESC is looking for best practices, qualitative assessments, impact evaluations, and examples of evidence-based policies and approaches to addressing youth involvement in gangs and gang-related violence.

The activity may include:
1) Piloting effective individualized case management approaches for gang-involved youth;
2) Tailoring interventions to address gang-related risk factors for school students;
3) Strengthening state and NGO capabilities to implement anti-gang evidence-based interventions;
4) Piloting a prison anti-gang rehabilitation and re-entry program;
5) Improving national and regional gang-related security information sharing;
6) Suppressing gang violence through de-escalation strategies.

Eligibility Requirements
Organizations with relevant development experience are encouraged to respond. Specific eligibility criteria include being a U.S. Small Business concern, U.S. Small Disadvantaged Business concern, or other types of organizations such as non-profits or academic institutions.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this activity is five years, from 2025 to 2030.

Grant Value
The total estimated amount for this activity is not to exceed $10 million over the period of the award, subject to funds availability.

Place of Performance
The activity will be implemented in up to three countries within the Eastern and Southern Caribbean region, which may include Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, among others.
