We welcome eligible organizations to apply for funding under the Regional Telehealth Resource Center (RTRC) program and the National Telehealth Resource Center (NTRC) program. These telehealth resource centers will support healthcare organizations, networks, and providers with telehealth implementation and training for rural areas, frontier communities, and medically underserved areas, as well as for medically underserved populations.

Background
The National Telehealth Resource Center program, administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) through the Office for the Advancement of Telehealth, aims to enhance telehealth services across the United States. The program focuses on supporting healthcare organizations, networks, and providers in implementing telehealth solutions specifically for rural areas, frontier communities, and medically underserved populations.

The initiative includes funding for both Regional Telehealth Resource Centers (RTRCs) and National Telehealth Resource Centers (NTRCs). The goal is to provide expert technical assistance and foster effective collaboration in telehealth technologies.

Grant Details
The grant will fund 12 Regional Telehealth Resource Centers (RTRCs) and 2 National Telehealth Resource Centers (NTRCs). RTRCs will provide expert technical assistance in developing telehealth services, disseminate information and research findings, promote collaboration, and foster the use of telehealth technologies. They will also conduct training sessions, webinars, and maintain a significant web presence to share expertise.

NTRCs will focus on providing policy and technology training while supporting regional centers. Core services expected from awardees include:
- Providing technical assistance, training, and support for healthcare providers.
- Disseminating information related to telehealth.
- Promoting collaboration among TRCs.
- Conducting evaluations of telehealth technologies.
- Integrating clinical information systems with telehealth technologies.
- Implementing special projects or studies as directed by HRSA.

Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include domestic public or private entities such as public or private institutions of higher education, non-profits (with or without 501(c)(3) status), for-profit organizations including small businesses, state and local governments, independent school districts, Native American tribal governments, and organizations. Applicants must demonstrate experience in providing technical assistance related to telehealth services targeting populations located in rural areas or medically underserved communities. Proof of consultation with relevant state offices is required.

Period of Performance
The total period of performance is four years, beginning September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2029.

Grant Value
The total available funding for FY 2025 is $3,900,000 for Regional TRCs (up to $325,000 per award) and $650,000 for National TRCs (also up to $325,000 per award).

Place of Performance
The grant activities will be performed across various regions in the United States focusing on rural areas and medically underserved populations.
