PRM intends to issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for full proposals to support Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank in September 2024. In addition to the basic eligibility requirements above, prospective lead applicants must have or be able to demonstrate a current operational presence in Gaza and/or the West Bank. PRM will not consider future applications from organizations that are not currently operating in Gaza and/or the West Bank.

Further information about sectors prioritized for PRM funding in Gaza and the West Bank will be included in the full NOFO, but anticipated priorities include the identified sectors below. Applications may include limited activities for Palestinian populations in Jordan or Lebanon, as appropriate, but must focus the majority of programming in Gaza and/or the West Bank.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with PRM's funding requirements and guidelines and ensure required federal registrations are in order.

Background
The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) is responsible for formulating policies on population, refugees, and migration, and administering humanitarian assistance to vulnerable populations. PRM's mission is to provide protection and ease suffering for persecuted individuals globally.

The upcoming Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to support programs benefiting Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, with a focus on organizations that have an operational presence in these areas.

The anticipated program sectors for funding include:

Eligibility Requirements
Prospective lead applicants must demonstrate a current operational presence in Gaza and/or the West Bank. Organizations not currently operating in these areas will not be considered for future applications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be defined in the full NOFO to be issued in September 2024.

Grant Value
Funding amounts are estimates and subject to change; specific values will be detailed in the full NOFO.

Place of Performance
The grant will primarily be performed in Gaza and the West Bank.
