The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mexico, is seeking to expand the Agency's partnership with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) organizations in Mexico to promote the inclusion of LGBTQI+ people into USAID's development approach and enhance the organizations' local leadership and capacity.

USAID is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit information and potential interest from organizations to diversify USAID's partner and sub-partner base. Responses may be submitted in English or Spanish.

Background
The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mexico, is seeking to expand the Agency’s partnership with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) organizations in Mexico to promote the inclusion of LGBTQI+ people into USAID’s development approach and enhance the organizations’ local leadership and capacity.

Grant Details
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to understand the priorities of the LGBTQI+ community in Mexico, diversify the partner and sub-partner base of USAID/Mexico by creating pathways for new and underutilized partners to work with USAID, and support partners to be self-sufficient and capable of leading their own development paths. The responses received will help shape the future work of USAID in inclusion and identify organizations currently interacting with the LGBTQI+ community that may be interested in working with USAID/Mission Mexico.

Eligibility Requirements
Organizations are invited to respond to this RFI by submitting the requested information in Annex A to mexicoaa@usaid.gov. The participation in this solicitation is voluntary. Please do not include personal identification information (PII) in your responses.

Period of Performance
Anticipated response date is February 1, 2023. Response Due date will be open through March 1, 2023.
