Eligible institutions are Institutions of Higher Education that offer doctoral degrees in NSF STEM areas and are located in<a href="https://new.nsf.gov/funding/initiatives/epscor/state-websites">EPSCoR jurisdictions</a>and are Emerging Research Institutions.Emerging Research Institutionsare those that have less than $50,000,000 inresearchexpenditures per year as reported at<a href="https://ncsesdata.nsf.gov/profiles/site?method=rankingBySource&ds=herd">https://ncsesdata.nsf.gov/profiles/site?method=rankingBySource&ds=herd</a>in three of the last five years.
Funding of partnering organizations should be requested via subawards in the proposal; separately submitted collaborative proposals will not be accepted.
EPSCoR CREST Partnership Supplements areacceptedonlyfromcurrentEPSCoR CRESTCenterrecipients.
An institution can hold a CREST-RISE award at the same time.
