Jan 2015:
Altus Systems and Technologies LLC,* Odenton, Maryland, is being awarded a $17,323,648 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the operation and maintenance of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division’s (NAWCWD’s) Weapons Survivability Laboratory used for the live fire testing and evaluation of aircraft platforms and systems vulnerability mission testing. Work will be performed at NAWCWD China Lake, California (95 percent); Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio (3 percent); NAWCWD Point Mugu, California (1 percent); and White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico (1 percent); and is expected to be completed in January 2018. Fiscal 2015 working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $2,000,000 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via an electronic request for proposals as a 100 percent small business set-aside; five offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, is the contracting activity (N68936-15-C-0016).
