Korte Construction Company, dba The Korte Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $23,800,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of the EA-18G Facility Upgrades at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. The contract also contains three unexercised options, which if exercised, would increase cumulative contract value to $26,629,380. Work will be performed in Oak Harbor, Washington, and is expected to be completed by May 2017. Fiscal 2014 military construction (Navy) funds in the amount of $23,800,000 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
