L3 Technologies, Communication Systems – West, Salt Lake City, Utah, is awarded a $16,035,924 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, and cost-only contract to develop, test, manufacture, deliver, manage, and support the AN/SRQ-4 Radio Terminal Set (RTS) Common Data Link (CDL) Hawklink on surface combatants. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $141,805,501. Work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is expected to be completed by April 2024. If all options are exercised, work will continue through April 2028. Fiscal 2023 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $6,173,676 (39%); fiscal 2019 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $5,139,942 (32%); and fiscal 2020 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $4,722,306 (29%) will be obligated at the time of award, of which $5,139,942 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
