Mar 2024: Bell Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a $455,000,000 firm-fixed-price, undefinitized contract for the production and delivery of 12 AH-1Z helicopters for the government of Nigeria, as well as provides associated engineering, program management and logistics support, and non-recurring engineering for obsolescence. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (80%); and Amarillo, Texas (20%), and is expected to be completed in July 2028.
