Sep 2016: Torch Technologies Inc., Huntsville, Alabama, is being awarded a $62,805,033 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (including options) for advisory and assistance services for test provisioning support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in support of technical, engineering, advisory and management support.  This contract provides the MDA with engineering support for flight test provisioning, ground test provisioning, test infrastructure, and advance technology. Work will be performed at Huntsville, Alabama; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Reagan Test Site, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands; Wake Island; Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico; Dahlgren, Virginia; and the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Hawaii, with an expected completion date of September 2021.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $3,000 are being obligated at time of award.  This contract was a competitively awarded acquisition with three timely offers being received.  The government selected for award the most advantageous proposal representing the best value to the government.  The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity (HQ0147-16-C-0077).
