Title
Generative AI Driven Natural Language Generation for the Automation of Data Driven Financial, Budget, and Audit Reporting
Abstract
Arria NLG's commercial product is the world leader in using AI/ML for Natural Language Generation. Arria NLG can convert the data curated in DAF FM databases or BI Dashboards (2D data- charts, graphs, tables) into a Narrative (3D data driven report) as if the best subject matter expert analyst had written it. The DAF will benefit from NLG solutions to create reports on demand that range from detailed (analyst level) up to summary brief (commander'slevel/congressional level) to provide insights and speed to decisions across complex financial, budget and audit reporting. Additionally, this process improvement would provide and return on investment in terms of saving time, reducing errors, and reducing burnout from the mundane task of writing repetitive data driven reports. Reports that currently take teams days to generate can be generated at the touch of a button. When the underlying data is changed or updated, the reports are updated in real time.
Research Objective
The goal of phase II is to continue the R&D efforts initiated in Phase I. Funding is based on the results achieved in Phase I and the scientific and technical merit and commercial potential of the project proposed in Phase II.
