The Kentucky Army National Guard (NGKY) intends to issue a brand name, firm fixed price to a responsible offeror whose quote meets or exceeds our requirements under the authority of of FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures contract for Air Rescue Hoist equipment per Airworthiness Release 980 R28 memorandum the equipment must be in IAW Army Regulation (AR) 70-62 for use of approved listed rescue equipment in solicitation W912KZ25QA0010.

Any quote that does not meet the specifications will not be considered for award. We intend to evaluate offers and award the contract without discussions.

Background
The Kentucky Army National Guard (KYARNG) intends to issue a brand name, firm fixed price contract for Air Rescue Hoist equipment. This procurement is in accordance with the Airworthiness Release 980 R28 memorandum and must comply with Army Regulation (AR) 70-62 for the use of approved listed rescue equipment. The agency responsible for this contract is the Purchasing and Contracting USPFO for Kentucky.

Work Details
This procurement is specifically for three (3) Zephyr ZL-1051-2 E-bag Kits, which include:
- ZL-1000-1 AxelCut™
- ZL-6000-3 QuickSplice with Slide-Lok Hook
- ZRG-6000-1 DarkLight G2B.
These kits are designed for use with Breeze style hoists and shipping is included in the contract. The Zephyr E-bag ZL-1051-2 is the only authorized product compatible with the current Breeze Style rescue hoist used by the Kentucky National Guard UH60L/M.
