Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a solicitation for the Danville VAMC Flooring Replacement and Repair project at the VA Illiana Healthcare Center in Danville, IL. The project involves replacing existing flooring and cove base in various rooms of Building 102 Police Services.

Work Details
The contractor is required to remove all furniture except IT equipment, remove existing cove base, carpet, and vinyl flooring, repair subfloor as needed, install new vinyl flooring and cove base provided by VA Illiana Healthcare. The contractor must coordinate with the OIT department for IT equipment, provide labor, equipment, materials, and bonding agents approved by the POC. The work also includes coordinating with VA staff for sensitive/restricted areas, completing a walk-through with relevant contractors, and complying with VA privacy training and VA Handbook 6500.6. The contract period is from July 15, 2022, to October 15, 2022.
