Elevator Maintenance Services (550) - 10/1/24 - 9/30/25 VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, IL   5

Background
The solicitation is for elevator maintenance services at the VA Illiana Healthcare System located in Danville, IL. The contractor is required to provide full coverage repair, maintenance, and inspection of five (5) geared elevators and three (3) hydraulic elevators located in various buildings at the VA Illiana Healthcare System. The services are to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).

Work Details
The vendor shall provide regularly scheduled monthly maintenance services including examination, lubrication, and adjustment of various components of the elevators. Additionally, the contractor shall provide full coverage parts repair maintenance program for all components worn or failed due to normal wear. Emergency response and after-hours service are also required. The contractor must respond to emergency service requests within two (2) hours during normal working hours and within four (4) hours before or after normal business working days and hours. The scope of work also includes providing a Maintenance Control Program with documentation, relamping signals as required, providing a maintenance tasks procedures manual for each unit, and conducting testing of drainage pumps in elevator pits.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, with options for extension up to a total duration of five (5) years.

The construction projects will be performed at the VA Illiana Healthcare System located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832.
