This contract will demolish the exterior veneer graphite from grade to roof levels. The full scope of work can be found in the A/E 100% CD Drawings and Design Analysis. All work must follow VA and local guidelines as well as Specifications provided by the A/E from the 100% submission. Contractor must follow all construction conditions outlined by the ICRA (Infection Risk Control Assessment), PCRA (Pre-Construction Risk Assessment), and NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) recommendations. Contractor is responsible for submitting and obtaining all relevant permits and licenses required to complete the work herein. Work will include, but not be limited to, architectural, interior finishes, mechanical (plumbing, fire protection and HVAC), electrical, structural, and other specialty consultants required pertinent to the project requirements within the constraints of the construction budget consistent with the VA s project team goals as prioritized during project meetings and field surveys. All finishes shall be coordinated with VA Interior Designer. Performance period is 365 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications, drawings, and attachments will be available at https://www.SAM.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All respondents must be registered in SAM data base, see https://www.sam.gov to include the completion of Representations and Certifications and registering with Vets 4212 at https://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm. Bidders must be registered in Veterans Small Business Certification (VetCert) at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov). All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as an Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100% SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220, with a small business size standard of $45.0 million annual receipts for the past three (3) years. The magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. The solicitation package, amendments, and site visit minutes will be issued by way of Sam website only. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing by email to Michael.Tabor1@va.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be received in writing. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation based on the availability of funds. It is the responsibility of the contractor to frequently check the web site for all notices, amendments, etc. regarding this solicitation. The government will not be responsible for any notifications not sent or received by contractors regarding this solicitation.
