Background
The contract is for the construction of a Fiber Optic Extension project at the Hampton National Cemetery in Hampton, VA. The contractor is required to furnish all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and professional supervision to perform the work described in the Statement of Work (SOW), Specification & Drawings.

Work Details
The contractor is expected to perform various tasks including surveying the project area prior to bidding, submitting submittals for review and approval, and performing all work according to the contract drawings and specifications. The specification sections cover a range of areas including general requirements, network analysis schedules, shop drawings, product data, testing laboratory services, sustainable construction requirements, concrete work, electrical construction, communications systems, earthwork, exterior improvements, and planting. The project also involves working with specific drawings such as cover sheets, site plans, electrical legends and symbols. Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (POP) for the contract is One Hundred and Twenty (120) Calendar Days from Issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Hampton National Cemetery located at 1 Cemetery Road, Hampton, VA 23669.
