Background
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), part of the U.S. Department of Energy, is issuing this solicitation for the Sioux Falls Substation Roof Replacement project. The goal of this contract is to replace the roof of the Warehouse, Office, and Vehicle Storage Building at the Sioux Falls Substation in South Dakota, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.

This solicitation is set aside for 100% small business participation.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform the following tasks:

1. Remove and dispose of approximately 6,500 square feet of asphalt shingles.
2. Provide a standing seam roof with snow guards for the Warehouse, Office, and Vehicle Storage Building.
3. Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete all work in accordance with the provided specifications and drawings.

The work includes mobilization and preparatory work, demolition, plywood and insulation removal, disposal and replacement, installation of a standing seam roof, and installation of snow guards.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award notice to proceed and complete all work within 60 calendar days.
