Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking construction services for a broad range of building and civil works repair, maintenance, renovation, and construction projects in support of NPS Regions 6, 7, & 8. The work will include repair and maintenance construction projects and may also involve projects with various specific trades. The work will encompass general project categories such as construction, repair and alteration of various buildings, structures and facilities; electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; earthwork; concrete and asphalt paving; deconstruction/demolition; roads, levees, impoundments, water control and pump stations; culverts, piers, boardwalks, gazebos, marine construction; timber construction; building improvements; asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold remediation; new construction; historic preservation/restoration of various facilities and structures; roofing; painting and wall coverings; sustainability (energy efficiency, renewables); among others.

Work Details
The contract line items for the seed task order include the installation of the fire suppression system with detailed tasks such as demo of points of entry within the ceiling to provide access to the current fire suppression system, demo of the current fire suppression system, installation of the new fire suppression system as per attached drawing/design requirements, suppression system testing including involvement of Yellowstone National Park technical experts and the Park Fire Chief, replacement/repair of all points of entry in the ceiling, cleaning and decontaminating all surfaces. Additionally, an option line is included for work related to the removal of all asbestos material within the building. The project locations include all National Parks and Park units in the states of Montana and Wyoming along with Dinosaur National Monument in Colorado, Golden Spike National Historic Site and Timpanogos Cave National Monument in Utah.
