Background
The National Park Service, CONOPS Central, Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for the Buckstaff Bathhouse HVAC Renovation at Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs, AR. The project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.

Work Details
The work consists of providing a new air conditioning system for the Buckstaff Bathhouse at Hot Springs National Park. This includes installing a chilled water/hot water, 4-pipe fan coil units, a dedicated outside air system utilizing chilled water cooling, hot water heating, filtration, and energy recovery.
Chilled water will be provided to the building’s fan coil units by means of a piped distribution system utilizing base mounted pumps with pump speed controlled by variable frequency controllers. Heating hot water will be produced by means of a heat exchanger utilizing thermal hot water. The scope also includes providing a new electrical service for the building located above the local flood plain and construction of piping chases, soffits, and walls utilizing light-gauge metal framing and gypsum wall board.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be awarded approximately late June 2024 with performance to begin approximately early August 2024.
