The project also involves the installation of an electronic security system (ESS) that includes an intrusion detection system (IDS), communications system, and performance requirements for growth capability, network certification, maintainability, availability, fail-safe capability, line supervision, power loss detection, controls and designations, special test equipment, interchangeability, detection sensitivity, detection alarm and reporting capacity, false alarm rate, nuisance alarm rate, nameplate mounting, interior fire alarm and mass notification system.
