Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the renovation of Building 2 at Lake Nona to establish an Emergency Department and Observation Unit.
The goal of this contract is to enhance healthcare facilities for veterans, ensuring they receive quality medical services in a modernized environment.

Work Details
The project involves a bid-build approach to renovate the existing structure, which includes tasks such as:
- Providing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) as-built drawings if available.
- Ensuring access to areas scheduled for work during the pre-construction meeting.
- Managing construction phasing to minimize disruption to active patient areas and VA staff.
- Complying with the Buy American Act for all equipment used in the project.
- Addressing hazardous materials as identified in the provided assessment survey.
- Following standard precedence where specifications take precedence over drawings in contract documents.

The construction projects will be performed at Lake Nona, Florida.
