Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for the Mental Health Building Phase 2 Construction at the Providence VA Medical Center (VAMC). The project is planned for advertising in late 2022/early 2023. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price contract utilizing the design-bid-build approach. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.

Work Details
The project involves completely preparing the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures/equipment, and furnishing labor and materials to perform work for the Expansion and Renovation of Space for the New Mental Health Building Phase 2 construction project at the Providence VAMC. This includes general construction, alterations, civil site work, finishes, HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression, security, and other items as contained within the construction documents.

Period of Performance
The duration of the project is currently estimated at 455 calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Providence VA Medical Center located at 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908.
