THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE An Invitation for Bids will be POSTED ON OR ABOUT 10/18/2023. The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) currently has a requirement for a project to Revitalize Dom Halls and Walls-BLDG 202-Temple VA. 36C25724B0009 PURPOSE: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and testing services as required to construct: Revitalize Dom Halls and Walls project in accordance with all Contract Documents. Project will be located at Building 202 A-wing first and second floor, and B-wing first floor. This building is located on the Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center located at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504. SCOPE OF WORK GENERAL: This project shall demo and replace all plumbing fixtures within the project area, along with all flooring, ceilings, and lighting. The project shall also demo all existing wall finishes. Existing walls shall be prepped and repainted. Since this is a 24-hour healthcare facility, some elements of the work shall require after-hour and weekend work. The work will need to be phased and completed one wing at a time. WORK SHALL INCLUDE: The base portion of the project will include all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the task described in the construction documents. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 M. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. The POC for this project will be Jennifer Stringer. Important Notice: Apparent successful bid must apply for and receive verification from the Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) program in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Small Business Administration Vet Cert program prior to submission of offer.
