Background
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, through the National Cemetery Administration (NCA), is issuing this solicitation for the Maintenance Building Renovations Phase 2 at Hampton National Cemetery. The goal of this contract is to renovate and improve the existing maintenance complex to ensure it meets operational standards and safety requirements.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, testing, inspection, and supervision to perform work as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) and as required by the contract drawings and specifications.

The project involves renovations to approximately 2500 square feet of the existing maintenance complex and includes:
- Demolition
- Flooring replacement
- Interior and exterior lighting replacement with associated wiring
- Main electrical panel replacement
- HVAC system replacement including ducts, wall heaters, and exhaust fans
- Interior and exterior painting
- Door replacements with new locks/keying
- Ceiling replacement and repair
- Plumbing rearrangement and demolition of existing services
- Installation of a new electrical feed via a duct bank to a flammable storage out building (FSOB)
- FSOB roof replacement
- Pantry modifications
- Hot water heater replacement
- Conducting a short-circuit and selective coordination study along with arc flash calculations for electrical devices installed under this project
- Installation of new life safety devices
- Masonry, asphalt, and concrete work
- Commissioning and testing of new systems.

Additionally, the contractor will re-key/re-core the entire building to a master key system including all new doors and existing doors.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be determined upon award but is expected to span several months as detailed in the SOW.
