Background
The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation is conducting market research for the Speelyi Beach Shoreline Protection project located on Cle Elum Reservoir, approximately 8 miles northwest of Cle Elum, WA in Kittitas County.

The purpose of this notice is to identify potential contractors capable of performing the required work as part of this project.

Work Details
The work consists of constructing shoreline protection along the edge of the reservoir. Principal components include:
1. Clearing and grubbing for staging areas and slopes to receive riprap.
2. Removal and hauling of trees.
3. Construction of a temporary access road to the work area.
4. Toe trench excavation and reshaping hillside.
5. Installation of geotextile filter fabric and riprap.
6. Construction of a 'perched beach' area.
7. Culvert installation and site grading.
8. Selective demolition of structures.
9. In-kind replacement of a fence.
10. Removal of the temporary access road upon completion.
