Background
The Leadville Water Treatment Plant project is being solicited by the Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region. The project involves the construction of a new 3.2 million gallons per day (MGD) water treatment plant adjacent to an existing 3.2 MGD WTP in Leadville, Colorado. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000,000 and $150,000,000.

Work Details
The principal components of the work include constructing a new water treatment plant building, storage building, diesel emergency generator, site retaining walls, potable water piping, site grading, cuts and fills as required, modifying existing infrastructure such as power supply and natural gas service, and demolishing existing structures.
Additionally, the work involves receiving delivery of government-furnished water treatment equipment and modifying existing facilities.
The location of the work is at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel Water Treatment Plant in Leadville, Colorado.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from September 2, 2024 to September 1, 2029.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel Water Treatment Plant located at 749 Highway 91, Leadville, CO 80461.
