Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, is issuing this solicitation for the GVIC Fish Screen Rehabilitation project located in Mesa County, south of downtown Palisade, Colorado. The mission of the Bureau is to manage water resources in the western United States. This project aims to enhance fish screen systems to support aquatic life and improve water management. The estimated magnitude of the contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.

Work Details
The scope of work includes various construction tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and includes:
- Demolishing concrete sections of the existing fish return structure.
- Placing new cast-in-place concrete.
- Removal and disposal of 21 existing weld wire fish screens.
- Furnishing and installing 4 new bi-fold overshot gates.
- Fabricating and installing metal framework for new fish screens.
- Furnishing and installing components of the Wash Water Supply Systems.
- Installing plumbing and water control connections.
- Installing 3 new gate actuators to existing check structure gates.
- Providing electrical service and data connections to all new components.
- Installing 16 government-furnished fish screens and a trash conveyors system.
- Implementing processes and methods for moving fabricated components into place and ensuring proper assembly.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2025, to May 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Mesa County, south of downtown Palisade, Colorado.
