Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, is seeking small business contractors to perform lift station repairs and replacements at Tuttletown and Glory Hole Recreation Areas at New Melones Lake in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties, California. The estimated cost of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The work will require 100% performance and payment bonds. Work Details
The principal components of work include maintenance or replacement of pumps in grinder and lift stations, as well as the replacement of level sensing devices and miscellaneous piping at select lift stations. Specific tasks include field maintenance for 10 grinder pumps onsite, furnishing new and replacing 4 grinder pumps, furnishing new and replacing 2 vertical turbine pumps, furnishing electrical components for 1 vertical sump pump, furnishing new and replacing 11 vertical sump pumps, performing diagnostic and replacing electrical components and cabling for 1 submersible shredder pump, performing onsite maintenance for 1 submersible shredder pump, and replacing miscellaneous piping at select lift stations such as riser pipes from pumps and grease tubes to pumps.
