Xiris XIR-1800 Basic SWIR Camera Kit and Calibration

Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) have a requirement for the purchase of the Xiris XIR-1800 Basic SWIR Camera Kit and Calibration. The objective of this contract is to support in situ, real-time monitoring of laser beam welding in the context of suborbital laser beam welding TIP at Marshall Space Flight Center.

Work Details
The specific products to be procured under this contract include the Xiris XIR-1800 Basic SWIR Camera Kit, which consists of various components such as the thermal camera, mounting frame, power over Ethernet injector kit, GigE camera cable, Pelican storage case, WeldStudio™ 3 Pro software, standard camera calibration, lenses, filters, and other accessories. The calibration is performed at Xiris with a precision, traceable black body temperature source and is calibrated at a working distance (WD) of 200 mm and field of view (FoV) of 17 x 14 mm. The accuracy is within +/- 10°C or 2% within the calibrated range of 350-1500°C. The place of performance for this contract is Marshall Space Flight Center located at Mail Stop EM31, 4619 Saturn Rd, Huntsville, AL 35812.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is approximately 3-4 weeks from receipt of the purchase order with delivery requested by September 1, 2024.
