NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Alaska Region Office (PRO), Anchorage AK, intends to award a Sole Source contract to SMG of Alaska Inc., a non-Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise/non-Indian Economic Enterprise, for providing rental space for a (3) day conference to be held November 28, 2023 November 30, 2023. A search of buildings that provide capable leasing areas, for 2,200 attendees was conducted to confirm that SMG of Alaska Inc. is the only capable vendor in Anchorage, AK. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 531120 and the Business Size Standard is $47.0M. Authority cited: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
