Womack Army Medical Center Blood Donor Center, Fort Bragg, NC Infectious Disease Laboratory Testing Requirement

Background
This is a nonpersonal services contract to provide infectious disease hemagglutinin testing on collected allogeneic blood units and Walking Blood Bank specimens. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the Contractor personnel performing services herein. Such personnel shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. This requirement will be solicited in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform infectious disease and Isohemagglutinin tests on collected allogeneic blood units and Walking Blood Bank specimens according to the performance work statement (PWS). The tests include standard test panel, standard nucleic acid test panel, confirmatory testing for various diseases including Hepatitis B Surface, Hepatitis B Virus, Human T-Lymphotropic V., Human Immunodeficiency, Hepatitis C Virus, Treponema Pallidum, Chagas/ T. Cruzi, NAT Test: WND IDT, Contractor Manpower Report, Chagas Confirmatory testing: Chagas, Zika testing and A, B Titers.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for each task ranges from August 1st, 2023 to July 31st, 2024 for CLINs 0001-0006; August 1st, 2025 to July 31st, 2026 for CLINs 1001-1006; August 1st, 2027 to July 31st, 2028 for CLINs 2001-2006; and August 1st, 2026 to July 31st, 2027 for CLINs 3001-3006 and CLINs 4001-4006.

Place of Performance
The contract requires performance at the Blood Donor Center located at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC.
