Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number M00264-24-Q-3855 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using FAR Part 13 procedures. This opportunity is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business and the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 321911 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The action resulting from this opportunity will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order.

Work Details
The requirement is for the replacement of wood window shutters made of Spanish Cedar wood. The old shutters need to be removed and disposed, and new shutters need to be manufactured and installed. The new shutters must match the old shutters in appearance, which are louvered style.
The rough estimate of sizes for the shutters are: 6 of them located on the first floor are 22”W X 9’5”H; 8 of them located on the second floor are 22”W X 6’6”H.
Vendors may conduct a site visit before quoting but it is not required. The shutters need to be placed on the outside of the first and second floor of the building, therefore vendor will need to have equipment to reach the second floor.
There are 14 shutters that need to be replaced in total, 6 on the first floor, 8 on the second floor. Clean-up is required.

Period of Performance
Delivery date is expected to be within 8 weeks after the date of award.

The delivery location is Marine Barracks Washington, located at 8th and I Streets SE, Washington, DC 20390.
