The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for a Window and Mylar Shade Cleaning service to be performed at the Albany Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in Albany, GA and the Dothan Air Traffic Control Tower(ATCT), in Dothan, AL.

This is a firm-fixed price (FFP) procurement set-aside for a Total Small Business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561210 Facility Support Services. Performance Begins 04/01/2024 for a base year plus four (4) option years.

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for a Window and Mylar Shade Cleaning service to be performed at the Albany Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in Albany, GA and the Dothan Air Traffic Control Tower(ATCT), in Dothan, AL. This is a firm-fixed price (FFP) procurement set-aside for a Total Small Business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561210 – Facility Support Services.

Work Details
The scope of work includes cleaning both inside and outside of windows by removing all foreign matter, scum, and dirt. The contractor must comply with all OSHA standards, especially fall protection. Safety harnesses and man lifts are required for tower window cleanings. Personnel must be trained to use personal protective equipment (PPE). The cleaning frequency for tower windows and base building varies from bi-weekly to monthly.
Additionally, the cleaning of sunshades installed in the ATCT operations areas shall follow the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures.

Period of Performance: 04/01/2024 to 03/31/2029

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Albany Air Traffic Control Tower in Albany, Georgia and the Dothan Air Traffic Control Tower in Dothan, Alabama.
