There will be a site visit 13 Feb 2024 at 8 AM Central Time. Offerors will meet at the visitor's center. Only two attendees from each company shall be allowed. RSVP NLT 2 PM Central Time, 9 Feb 2024 to the email address in the solicitation with the:

Submission of quotes has been extended to 20 Feb 2024 at 10 AM Central Time.

The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, tanks, vehicles, and permits (required by the State of Missouri
Department of Natural Resources (DNR)) to perform all operations necessary for removal and disposal of thickened waste
sludge from the Water Treatment Facility located on Whiteman AFB, MO, in strict accordance with these specifications and
subject to the terms of the contract.

Background
The U.S. Air Force at Whiteman Air Force Base (WAFB) in Missouri generates lime sludge as a result of water treatment for the base community. The Contractor shall provide all services, materials, equipment, personnel, parts, and labor necessary for removal, storage, and disposal of thickened lime sludge from the Water Treatment Facility located on Whiteman AFB, Missouri.

Work Details
The tasks include removal of lime sludge from the holding tank and spent wash basin, storage of lime sludge in off-base facilities when not feasible to land apply, disposal of lime sludge according to MO DNR requirements, soil testing for land application, providing suitable equipment and vehicles for hauling and disposal, inspections, safety compliance, invoicing via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and adherence to general guidance and performance objectives.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance (PoP) shall be one base year of 12 months and four 12-month option years for a total period of five years. Extensions up to six months at the end of this period of performance may be determined to be in the best interest.
