Background
The solicitation is for Mission Support Services at White Sands Missile Range, and White Sands Test Center (WSTC) located in New Mexico. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Hood, Texas is conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) has been provided for industry review and is subject to change prior to its official release.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide non-personal services to support the planning, logistics, operation, maintenance, research, and development of systems, equipment, and facilities for the WSMR T&E mission. This includes furnishing engineering, technical, administrative, maintenance, and support services necessary for and incidental to performance of the requirements set forth in the PWS and priorities established by the Government. Tasks include defining camera parameters, safe execution of tests from approved Track Optical Plans, development of new photographic techniques and systems, operating equipment to convert optical media into data products, producing metric data imaging and trajectories of egress and dispensed items to support track test missions, assessing optical data images from each instrument for each mission and performing failure investigations as necessary to improve data collection process or rework test requirements. Additionally, the Contractor shall perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on over 100 items of Aerospace Ground Equipment IAW Air Force Tech Orders including generators, air conditioners, trailers, welders, heavy equipment; provide support to logistical documentation for configuration of the test bed; provide technical services for emerging technologies; provide fabrication services for maintenance and repair of equipment; perform maintenance tasks such as light carpentry, painting, welding, plumbing, electrical, HVAC services; perform generator maintenance; demonstrate familiarity with documentation associated with the receipt, storage, and transportation of ammunition; operate Government-owned COMSEC equipment for managing cryptographic security equipment and material IAW AR 380-40.
