Western Currency Facility (WCF) Forklifts (Brand Name)

Background
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Western Currency Facility (WCF), Office of Currency Manufacturing (OCM) Division in Fort Worth, Texas, has a requirement for new material handling equipment. This equipment will be utilized to transport materials within the building and around the perimeter of BEP WCF.

The acquisition aims to enhance efficiency in the performance of duties required by the OCM Division.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver two (2) new Crown Model ST 3000-25 Series power lift stackers, or equal, with a capacity of 2,500 lbs. Each stacker will feature a 24 Volt Straddle Walking design with adjustable spread.

Specifications include:
- Fork length of 42 inches
- Fork width of 3 inches
- Fork thickness of 1.5 inches.

The ST Series walkie straddle stacker can function as a portable workstation, capable of stacking loads 2 to 3 high in racks and maneuvering loads in tight aisles or work areas. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, equipment, assembly, materials, management, supervision, delivery, transportation, and demonstration services necessary for the procurement. Additionally, on-site operation demonstrations and a final checkup/make-ready after delivery are required to ensure proper functionality. A minimum one-year warranty must also be provided.

Period of Performance
Contractor shall deliver, install and provide training for the new equipment within 180 days of contract award.
