This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

One (each) trailer mounted weed wash that weighs less than 14,000 lbs. Specialized for invasive species decontamination. Must meet Forest Service standards: High pressure low volume system with water pressures above 1000psi, or a low-pressure, high-volume system that delivers at least 10 gal of water per minute. Self-contained with recycling water system filtered to 100-micron particle size. Portable commercial power washers with two hand-held pressure wands/nozzles. Underbody washing system. Wash storage tank with adequate capacity to operate the system for a minimum of two hours. Wastewater containment system. Accommodate equipment up to ten feet wide.

Deliver 90 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination.

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is set aside for total small business.

Work Details
A trailer mounted weed wash specialized for invasive species decontamination is required. It must meet Forest Service standards, including a high pressure low volume system with water pressures above 1000psi or a low-pressure, high-volume system that delivers at least 10 gal of water per minute. It should be self-contained with a recycling water system filtered to 100-micron particle size, have portable commercial power washers with two hand-held pressure wands/nozzles, an underbody washing system, a wash storage tank with adequate capacity to operate the system for a minimum of two hours, and a wastewater containment system. It should also accommodate equipment up to ten feet wide.
