Wave Relay Tactical Assault Kit (WaRTAK) Sustainment

WaRTAK is a multi-frequency radio communication system that provides Air Force Security Force conducting MMIII weapon system convoy operations with a tactical common operational picture and situational awareness via a secure, high-bandwidth, wireless radio network. This system utilized the ATAK an Android platform-based, geo-spatial infrastructure application for user interaction.

WaRTAK is deployed at each operational MMIII Wing: FE Warren AFB, WY; Minot AFB, ND; and Malmstrom AFB, MT.

WaRTAK is currently being sustained on a Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) contract. The CLS contract provides program management, product support, performance, depot and field maintenance, sustainment engineering, security, cybersecurity and training support at the following locations: Malmstrom AFB, MT; Minot AFB, ND; FE Warren AFB, WY, Barksdale AFB, LA, and Hill AFB.
