Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a contractor to provide water treatment services at the ARTCC and 11 Murphy Drive locations in Nashua, NH. The contract aims to ensure the proper treatment of water systems, including cooling tower treatments and HVAC hot and chilled water system treatments.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a comprehensive water treatment program that protects against scale and sludge formation, corrosion, and microbiological fouling. This includes thorough system analysis, continuous review of results, effective communication, and compliance with pollution standards. The contractor must also maintain an in-house laboratory facility for water analysis, provide emergency services within 24 hours, maintain a manufacturing facility within 50 miles of Nashua N.H., deliver chemicals using a drum-free method with spill containment systems, and comply with safety and handling procedures.
Additionally, the contractor is responsible for equipment installation and maintenance, testing equipment, program performance checks, operator training, equipment inspection, service visits, and startup services. The treatment specifications require the use of specific chemicals for cooling tower systems, biocide treatments for condenser water systems, treatment chemicals for HVAC chilled water systems and hot water heating systems.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed over an annual basis.
