Washburn Janitorial Services

Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) for janitorial services at the Washburn Ranger District Office and associated buildings. The primary goal is to maintain cleanliness in facilities used by Government employees.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide general janitorial services, which include:

- Cleaning four restrooms twice a week, ensuring they are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Sanitizing commonly touched surfaces in the office and warehouses.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area in the office building.
- Servicing all garbage cans.
- Cleaning all floors in the office building once a week.
- Dusting all areas within the office weekly.
- Vacuuming upholstered chairs every two weeks.
- Polishing hand railings and removing dust from overhead beams biweekly.
- Cleaning all windows inside and outside every six months.

All cleaning must be performed outside of normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 0600 – 1700). Employee work areas must not be cleaned or disturbed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Washburn Ranger District Office located at 113 E. Bayfield Street, Washburn, Wisconsin, 54891, as well as other associated buildings in the compound area.
