Background

The goal of the contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and sanitation of vault toilets and fish cleaning stations within the district, adhering to all relevant state and federal regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide vault pumping services on an as-needed basis, which includes all necessary equipment, supervision, transportation, labor, operating supplies, and incidentals. Specific tasks include:

1. Pumping, washing down, cleaning up, disinfecting, and disposing of waste products from vault toilets and fish cleaning vaults.
2. The contractor will be notified five days prior to the need for pumping at designated sites.
3. All sewage and debris must be removed from vaults; trash such as beverage containers and plastic bags must also be removed.
4. Debris must be placed in leak-proof containers to prevent contamination of surrounding areas.
5. Vaults must be pre-charged with clean water after pumping to maintain sanitation standards.
6. Thorough cleaning and disinfection of contaminated areas resulting from the pumping process are required.
7. Disposal of all waste materials at Clay Peak Landfill in Payette, Idaho, must comply with federal, state, and local laws.

Period of Performance
